What is one thing our readers would be surprised to learn about you?
Spanish was my first language as I am a first-generation Mexican American. I think my readers would also be surprised to find out that I’ve had a passion for modelling since I was three years old. My parents put me in several pageants throughout my childhood. I do wish I would have kept up with it, however, I am happy to have the opportunity to model clothing for some of my favorite brands now!
What has been your most exciting moment since becoming an influencer?
My most exciting moment has been the amount of love and support I’ve received from fellow influencers. I always get so excited when I get to network with other influencers and also connect with my followers through IG stories or comments on my posts. I absolutely love making connections and having that sense of community within Instagram.
What advice would you offer to aspiring influencers?
Just go for it! Seriously. There is room for everyone. I would definitely tell them to stay true to themselves and know their value when working with brands. Know your worth!
How would you describe your Instagram aesthetic?
I would say my current Instagram aesthetic is modern and neutral. I definitely try to stay more on the neutral side. I also try to be consistent when planning out my feed. I like to post far away full body outfit shots, close ups, and sometimes selfies 😉
How did you develop your Instagram aesthetic?
It has honestly changed so much over the last few years, but it wasn’t until I transitioned from a mom blogger to a fashion and lifestyle blogger that I truly found my Instagram aesthetic. I would say that consistency, creativity, and intent is key to having a pleasing Instagram aesthetic. You have to be consistent on the way you edit your photos, creative on when you post certain photos, and intentional about the photos you post on your feed to ensure there is cohesiveness throughout.
Where do you go for inspiration?
I love getting inspiration from Pinterest and brands. I find myself getting inspired when I see brands with really innovative, creative, and aesthetically pleasing photos and Instagram stories.
Heels or flats?
I would say on the daily, flats. However, I do LOVE getting dressed up and heels are definitely my go to when I want to feel cute!
What are two of your current fashion obsessions?
I am currently obsessed with the monochrome look and always with the chunky gold hoop earring trend. I am a sucker for anything gold and dainty!
Describe the outfit that makes you feel the most confident.
You can never go wrong with an LBD (Little Black Dress). I feel the most confident whenever I wear a little black dress!
Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
I always like to make sure I steam whatever I am wearing! Wrinkles are not your friend. Lol. I would also say that I try to make sure my outfit looks cohesive and well thought out. Not necessarily matchy matchy, but I definitely try to put some thought into what I am going to wear.
