When did your love for fashion start?
My absolute love for fashion began around 2015, after learning my youngest daughter was diagnosed with a muscular dystrophy. I was extremely depressed—I didn’t care about much at that time. Eventually, through God and a new-fangled love for fashion, garments helped me to regain my confidence.
What are some misconceptions people usually have about stylists?
Stylists are not only for the rich and famous. If you need your hair done, see a beautician. If you need your nails done, visit a nail tech. If you need help shopping or assembling a successful outfit, see a personal stylist. When you need help, get help! It’s worth the investment.
What is your favorite aspect of styling?
My favorite aspect of shopping is the hunt! I love getting down and dirty in-store and online. Once I have a focal point of inspiration—let me at it! Let’s create a look!

What are 5 pieces you think every girl should have in their fashion collection?
Every girl should have: denim jacket, denim skirt/short, basic bodysuits, variety of hats, focal point sneaker.
Where do you go to be fashion inspired?
Honestly, I like to sit in my closet surrounding myself with clothing/pieces.
What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
I am totally obsessed with anything CDG or denim.
Who is your dream client?
My dream client is the woman who is coming to terms with her “dopeness”. She knows she’s a baddie—she simply needs help expressing that through her sense of personal style. My dream client desires to be stylish—however, she doesn’t have the time, patience, or expertise to achieve it on her own.
What is one accessory you think every woman should own and why?
I think every woman should own a brown leather belt. In my opinion, it ties in with everything.
What is one thing our readers would be surprised to learn about you?
I served in the U.S Army. Although, I have a Management degree, I also have taken the time to invest in my education as it relates to the business of fashion and being a personal wardrobe stylist.
