No, but I do choose a ‘word’ of the year! This year my word is discover.
What does a typical day in your life look like now and how does it compare to your pre-covid days?
My typical day starts with a cup of coffee and quiet time on the couch. I work remotely from 9-5 in digital marketing, but it’s pretty flexible, so sometimes I take longer breaks to make lunch/run errands during the day. After 5, I’ll cook dinner with my husband & work out in our apartment gym. Then we typically end the day with a tv show and some reading! My job is fully-remote (even pre-covid), so the biggest change is having my husband work across the room every day. We get a LOT of quality time! 😉
Which fashion era would you have liked to be a part of and why? 80’s 90’s etc.
1920’s for sure! I’m obsessed with all the fashion in Downton Abbey & Titanic.
List 3 winter pieces you think every girl should own and why?
A classic peacoat: I’m in love with coats, so this naturally made my list. A peacoat can dress up any outfit, and is very practical yet stylish.
A good fitting pair of denim pants: A good pair of jeans will never go out of style and will pair with just about anything. If you find a good pair, never let them go!
A cozy cardigan: I don’t like bringing a heavy coat everywhere, so having a cardigan you can wear with almost anything and can take off when you want is a must for me!
Burger or Salad?
Burger!
What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever been given and who was it from?
Keep it simple. Paraphrased from Anuschka Rees in The Curated Closet. I couldn’t recommend it more!
How would you describe your personal style?
Timeless, classic, feminine.
Describe your favorite outfit.
I just love dresses. If I could dress for a semi-formal event every day, I would! Anything from Gal Meets Glam is my favorite outfit.
