What are your two favorite brands from STYLEFAV?

If you could go back in time, what’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger self?

Stop worrying about what everyone thinks. If you want it, go for it.

What is your favorite way to start your day?

I start every morning with cuddles with my family. My kids love to get into our bed and I make sure to spend some time every morning to really be with them and talk to them about their day ahead and anything they feel like telling me. Once they are up, my husband and I spend a couple of minutes talking about our day ahead and just being close to one another. This closeness with my family carries me through the day and ensures that we all get to fill our cups for the morning.

What is one fashion accessory you think every girl should own and why?

A beautiful brooch (preferably designer). They are timeless, can go on everything and elevate any look. A brooch can take a simple black outfit and give it that extra special something. Bags, shoes and other accessories can date and can be restrictive when it comes to what occasion they can be worn on, but a brooch can be worn to everything from black tie event, to the beach.

What item in your closet do you wear the most and why?

My Chanel Brooch. I put it on everything. Jackets, Blazers, Jumpers, jeans. Even in my hair on turbans and scarves, or on my bathing suits.

Where do you go to be fashion inspired?

I follow a lot of European fashion bloggers and find inspiration there. Their ability to dress up inexpensive items and make them look extremely chic with simple accessories is amazing.

What is your favorite type of silhouette?

I have an hourglass body shape with a long torso and short legs so I have always been partial to anything that is fitted, will nip at my waist and elongate my legs like an A-line skirt but for more formal wear, I can’t go past a mermaid silhouette.

What items do you gravitate towards when you go shopping?

I like pieces that I can wear often and mix with a lot of other items in my closet. I don’t like to buy items that I can only wear with one look as it is a waste of money. I prefer to spend more and buy less but make sure that I can wear it more.

If you could raid anyone’s closet, who would it be?

Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly are the classic go to but I think Kate Middleton is definitely my modern choice.

Which piece of clothing do you own with the most interesting story?

I was partying at a club in Europe and slipped out of my shoe. When I turned around, a young man was picking it up and handed it back to me. I thanked him and went on my way. I found out later, he was a member of a royal family and that was my Cinderella moment. I still have the shoes.

What has been your most exciting moment since becoming an influencer?

My husband and I have a really unique story of how our lives have intertwined over 20 years and how we found one another and fell in love. This story is about to be published in a magazine, which is very exciting.
