Who and or What gives you inspiration for your Instagram content?
That’s a hard question because I have so many sources of inspiration but, I must say that the one’s who inspires me the most are: Camila Coelho(@camilacoelho), Petra(@pepamack) and Josefine(@josefinehj). And of course, I couldn’t forget to mention Pinterest, it’s my mainly daily dose of inspiration.
Walk us through your creative process for creating your Instagram content.
First thing first, my Instagram feed it’s all about trying to create the perfect aesthetic pleasing feed. So my first step is to search for some inspiration or get a new creative idea, I could not mention Pinterest in this first step due to the fact that is my daily dose of inspiration. After that I start putting my ideas into reality, I start by taking some photos until I got the perfect shot.
My creative process is all about focusing on every tiny detail to make sure that everything is perfectly placed, for that I always use a feed planner app to have more control and make sure that every post looks exactly what I wanted to look like before posting into Instagram.
Describe your personal style.
I have a classy style, all about dark and neutral colours.
I’m not a big fan of bright colours or patterns, but I love too see on others. Even though I have such a classy and chic style, sometimes I mix a little bit of sportswear with a classy piece or a casual look with chic piece. For me, it’s more about making it simple but significant.
What message do you think your personal style sends?
Since for me, it’s just about clothes or brands it’s more than that, is your personality and authenticity, in my point of view my personal style message is, that confidence and attitude are the key to own any outfit and do not forget to be authentic and unique.
What are the first items you gravitate towards when you are shopping?
Blazers and jeans.
If you could raid anyone’s closet, who would it be and why?
Pepamack’s closet because I’m so obsessed with her style and I can see my style in her outfits.
Picture yourself in 10 years what are you wearing?
To be honest, I don’t think it would be much different from now. I would be wearing one of my classic piece, a blazer, of course and the rest of outfit it would depend on the occasion.
What item in your closet do you wear the most?
Blazers, I just can’t get tired of them.
How do you feel about trends and what is one trend you wish never happened?
I’m not the type of girl to follow every trend, but I like to keep up with all the new trends. The only occasion that I expand my closet with some new trendy pieces, is if they complement my personal style.
There are so many trends that I wish never happened, but I must say that the one who recently has been bothering me is the “one-legged pants” trend.
If you could take a year-long paid sabbatical, what would you do?
I would travel to as much as countries as I can; learn new languages; get in contact with different cultures; go to every single fashion show around the world and finally vacate to an island just to relax my mind, body and spirit and be able to connect with nature.
