What are your two favorite brands from STYLEFAV?
Girlfriend Collective is a brand I love that STYLEFAV carries as they are ethical and sustainable, which are two things I really want to focus more on this year! Also love Champion, they have really started to pop off in the last few years, and their hoodies are killer quality.
What has been your life’s greatest adventure?
I spent 2 months in Africa and then 2 weeks in NZ immediately after! Skydiving in NZ is something I never thought I would do, but it showed me you got to take chances when they present themselves.
What is one thing you haven’t done that you’d like to do?
I would love to land a job in Social Media Marketing someday, whether that be working for myself or in a corporate position, I’m using this interview to manifest that!
What is the greatest advice you’ve been given and who was it from?
“Show up as the person you want to be”. I read it on some random Instagram account on my explore page and it has never left my mind since. Rather than wishing you could be “that” type of person, if you start showing up as them, eventually you will be!
What three words would you use to describe your personal aesthetic?
My personal aesthetic can really summed up in bold, excessive and unapologetic. But I guess that’s what makes me who I am, from my personality to the clothes I wear!
How would you describe your personal style?
I think my style is definitely street style and does follow the trends but with my own spin on it. I also love to dress quite extra for the mundane places I go. “Heels at the supermarket” type of vibes.
Where do you go for fashion inspiration?
Creators I follow on Instagram and Pinterest are a given but I also love looking at K-pop idols. Their stylists are so talented and I love taking inspiration from other countries with different trends.
Describe the outfit that makes you feel the most confident.
My outfits that bring out the most confidence in me changes as I get new pieces to style. At the moment, my brown leather pants with a brown/beige top to create a monochromatic look is my current repeat outfit!
Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
My rules are simple. If you don’t feel good in it or comfortable in it, don’t wear it. Outfits take a life of their own when you LOVE what you are wearing and are confident in it. And life is too short to be uncomfortable in the clothes you wear.
Who takes your photos?
ME! And I encourage everyone to buy a tripod, get your phone and go crazy! My biggest tip is to change you settings to 4K 60FPS, and film yourself with the back camera. Then screenshot all the poses you like!
What is one thing our readers would be surprised to learn about you?
I think people would be surprised about how much research I do in my spare time about random things. Most of it is about social media algorithms and ways I can better myself, but even random things such as investing or trends!
