My idea of a perfect weekend is spending my free time visiting a place where I’ve never been before. I’m really lucky since I live in Italy, the country with the largest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. I truly believe that here every little corner, even the most hidden one, is absolutely stunning.
What’s the last thing you googled and why?
“Petronio”. I googled it because I’m an art history student at the University of Pisa and I’m studying for the Latin Literature exam.
How would you describe your Instagram aesthetic and how did you discover and develop it?
I tend not to be identified with just one aesthetic type, I really like to modify and change my style according to my contents and I totally hate uniformity. My Instagram aesthetic is the result of my way of being and of the things I like: art, fashion, rock music, vintage and pastel color. To improve the quality of my contents I like to compare my feed with others and take inspiration from other influencers but I also like to ask my followers for advice (taking also note of what they appreciate the most). All of that never loosing sight of what I like and of my way of seeing things, that I think is fundamental.
Where do you go for inspiration?
When I’m looking for inspiration I love going to the banks of the Arno river (“Lungarno”) which is located in my beautiful Pisa.
What has been your greatest life adventure so far?
I think I’ve never experienced an epic life adventure so far but there are a lot of experiences that I’d like to live in the future, like travelling around the world as much as I can.
Maybe I lived one of the most adventurous experience this summer. My friends and I decided to take a road trip along Salento (in Apulia, South of Italy). In the city of Otranto we got lost looking for a place that we later discovered was accessible only by boat. It was funny!
Where is your favorite place to travel?
I really love to travel all around but my favourite places to visit are the cities of art such as Rome, Verona, Ravenna, etc.
How would you describe your personal style?
I would describe my personal style as streetwear, vintage, but also soft grunge. My style changes based on days, moods and events. I really love to take inspiration from the past decades, especially the 80s and the 90s and I like the pastel colours. I’m not afraid to dare, experiment and switch from one style into another. In fact I really like to dress both with “princess clothes” and tees with the logos of my favorite bands.
Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
My only rule is to follow fashion remaining consistent with myself and what I like. I think I couldn’t wear an outfit that doesn’t represent me or that doesn’t have one or more details that makes it unique and remarkable. For example, this year low-waisted pants/jeans are back in fashion, but I’ll never wear them!
What is your favorite item of clothing?
I will definitely pick the leather jacket , a must have that goes with everything and will never be old-fashioned!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
It certainly is to be myself and do all the things that make me feel good never caring of what others will think because they will always judge you… And since I started to put it into practice I live so much better!
