SCROLL

Describe your personal style?

I would say my personal style is classic and polished. I rarely pick a random shirt and a pair of jeans to put together. I always think of what I will wear before I go out. To me, that’s polished. To me, the clothes I wear are not just clothes, but they also carry a message. I believe that how I represent myself by the way I dress will attract the same kind of people, and I want to “attract” thoughtful, sensitive, responsible people, so I always put a lot of thought into what clothes I wear..

Describe an outfit that makes you feel the most confident.

I would feel most confident in an outfit that is white and fits me perfectly. The white color gives a really nice contrast to my tanned skin . Also, an outfit that perfectly fits not only shows my body curves but also makes me comfortable.

Where do you go for fashion inspiration?

I usually find fashion inspiration on Instagram and Youtube. There are many beautiful fashion bloggers who invest a lot in clothes and accessories on Instagram. I learned a lot through their posts, from how they mix and match an outfit to how to pose with that outfit. In addition, I also learned how to choose high quality materials on Youtube. I found these are very useful and convenient resources.

What are some brands that really helped to build your personal style?

I don’t buy clothes specifically from one brand. I always have what I want in my mind then go through many brands to look for it. However, if I have to say which brands fit my personal style, I would say Zara, Abercrombie and H&M. These brands not only have a variety of styles available but also affordable. Zara and H&M are where I look for formal clothings such as work clothes. Abercrombie is my favorite brand for basic yet high quality daily clothes.

What advice would you offer to someone trying to develop their personal style?

Don’t just wear anything you “feel comfortable”, don’t give yourself excuses like “it’s just a quick hangout” or “no one cares”. Actually, as I mentioned, how you represent yourself will attract people of the same kind. I’d suggest paying attention to what your favorite style is, whether it’s elegant, classy or sexy. Next, think of what outfits make you most confident and why; does it represent who you are? And don’t forget, fit matters! No matter how trendy that top is, or how high quality those shorts have, an outfit that fits you gives out the best of you. Through this process, you get to learn so much more about yourself.

Burger or Salad?

Both! I prefer to have a balanced diet rather than force myself to be healthy. However, I still suggest eating lots of vegetables and drinking enough water; because when you are healthy, you can live for a long time with the people you love. I want to be healthy so I can live as long as I can with my loved ones.

What are some of your current fashion faves?

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Nam ornare orci nisl, at pulvinar risus bibendum ac. Vivamus auctor nec ipsum a sollicitudin. Nulla iaculis mi convallis efficitur mollis. Phasellus dapibus posuere ante id mattis. Aliquam in tellus tempor, molestie nibh facilisis, consequat leo.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit?

Since it’s Spring, I love wearing a floral wrap dress that shows my waist and gives a feminine vibe. Or a pair of straight jeans with a cute white blouse would be perfect.

What’s one accessory you think every girl should own?

Definitely a pair of earrings. Your smile will shine even more when it comes with a pair of simple and sparkling earrings.

What has been your greatest life adventure so far?

The greatest life adventure of mine was when I tried to find who I really am. I used to be a grumpy girl who didn’t care about what people think about me because I thought people were so shallow. I used to like wearing the sexiest shirts, tightest shorts to show off my body because I thought it made me more confident. After the experiences I’ve had over the past 2 years, I realize that I want others to respect and recognize me through what I say, what I do more than how much I show my body. Moreover, I met the love of my life who made me want to be soft, feminine and elegant. Not only my style but my life has been changing so much and I’m thankful for that. Don’t get me wrong when I said I no longer wear sexy clothes. I still do whenever there is a special event, but the most important thing is I care more about what I have achieved than how much I show my skin.
