What are your two favorite brands from our STYLEFAV website?

How do you start your day?

I wake up around 8 am every day and I immediately gravitate toward the coffee machine. I don’t care what time I need to be up in the morning, I always need at least 30 minutes after I wake up to just relax with my cup of coffee before starting my day. After my coffee, I usually do some type of workout, whether it’s a quick ab workout or a bike ride I always try to do some type of exercise. Working out in the morning is the only time I really like to work out, it gets me motivated for the rest of the day and I like to shower right after so I can officially start my day.

Picture yourself in three years, what are you wearing?

Probably scrubs! I’m currently a biology major at University and plan to work in the medical field. If it’s a day off, then chic and up to date with the latest trends.

Describe your personal style?

Oh man, I think I’m all over the place. I guess I have a pretty eclectic style. Not in the sense that I wear all these crazy different colors and patterns together and pull it off, but I’m always down to try different combinations of different pieces in order to determine which combo truly looks best. I remember by mom always saying, “you’re going to wear that? It doesn’t match,” then once I put the outfit on she would say, “oh okay that does work together.”

How did you develop your personal style?

Definitely from following other influencers. I’ve always been obsessed with fashion and since I could remember was trying to stay ahead of the trends. Once I really started getting into Instagram and following accounts with a similar style to mine I started to discover new companies/brands. From there I found it so easy to find clothes and accessories that I really liked. Instagram really opened up a whole new world of fashion for me that I never knew existed.

If you could raid anyone’s closet, who would it be?

It has to be Jen Ceballos (@endlesslyloveclub), I’m just so obsessed with her look and style. If I could buy everything that she posts I would, just so cool.

What are the first items you gravitate towards when you go shopping?

The dressy stuff, for sure. My closet is filled with dresses, skirts, dressy tops , and heels. Even though I feel like a large part of me is tomboy, fashion always steers me in the opposite direction. One of my favorite things to do is dress up and go out to a nice restaurant/bar for the night.

What item in your closet do you wear the most?

Most days I keep it casual if I’m not shooting looks or going out, so honestly a pair of denim shorts and a graphic tee is the usual. I love my RE/DONE graphic tee and I’ve been wearing it the most during the day. When I’m home all I need is and oversized sweatshirt and cotton shorts and I’m golden.

If you could back in time and tell your past self DON’T WEAR THAT! Describe which outfit would that be?

Oh God, definitely that bright orange, PS from Aeropostale, t-shirt and matching sweatpants that I would wear in fifth grade because I HATED wearing jeans to school. Also those neon pink, orange, and green DC chunky skater sneakers that I begged my mom to buy for me. I still can’t believe she let me wear them.

What are some of your current lifestyle obsessions?

I’ve recently started using the gua sha tool every night to help reduce inflammation and increase collagen levels. Also, for the past 6 months I’ve been applying sunscreen to my face daily. I love laying in the sun, but I’m not messing around when it comes to sun spots and wrinkles. Lastly, I just started getting into dry brushing. It is said it increases blood flow, aid in lymphatic drainage, and exfoliates the skin which all sounds good to me.

If you could take a year-long paid sabbatical, what would you do?

I would move to a small town in Italy, somewhere by the coast. I imagine early mornings and late nights filled with good views and better people. The thought of connecting with the locals, learning how to cook better, and learning more of the language brings me so much peace. I would just want that year to be a year of simplicity somewhere in a beautiful city.
