What are your two favorite brands from our STYLEFAV website?

What’s the last thing you googled and why?

The last thing I googled was Denis Shapovalov who is a Canadian tennis player that I like. I was checking to see when he played his next match as he is currently playing in the Australian Open tournament. I am a tennis player myself and I have been playing since I was 8 years old. I love the sport and I enjoy being able to watch my favourite players especially in person! I hope to one day be able to play in some major tournaments and meet some of the players.

Where do you go to be inspired?

To be inspired I always go outside to be around nature. There is something about trees, water and animals that calms me down. I enjoy sitting by water to hear how it moves along. Whenever I feel blocked whether it’s something to do with my life, work or singing if I’m surrounded by the wonders of nature, I instantly feel better. I enjoy being places that are not busy and loud when I need inspiration so a forest would be my ideal place to go.

How would you describe your relationship with fashion?

My relationship with fashion has drastically changed over the years. Fashion to me is all about expressing yourself through clothing and accessories. I would stay my style is simple but chic at the same time. My style has changed drastically from when I was in high school to now being in university. At one point, I became so self-conscious about what I wore or how I looked. I always wanted to make sure I looked good and that people would notice me. After a while I stopped caring about what other people thought and started wearing what made me feel good. Usually, an outfit for me would always have something pink in it and if there wasn’t there might be something wrong that day lol!

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style changes depending on my mood and what I’m doing for the day. If I’m at home, I’m in my comfy clothes which is usually pajamas or sweatpants and a sweater. I like being warm and comfortable when I’m at home so I can relax after a long day of work. If I am going to work, I usually wear jeans and a nice sweater or jacket. I like looking professional but still adding me into the outfit with a scrunchie or a scarf.

What is your favorite outfit and why?

My favourite outfit would be a black romper that I currently own. I love this outfit as you can really dress it up or down. It can be fancy when you add accessories, or it can be simple if you just wear it as is. I like the way it hugs my body and sits on my chest area. I wore this dress in many different styles for fun for many school events.

Tea or Coffee?

For me this question was easy, I am obsessed with tea. I actually don’t even drink coffee, I don’t enjoy the taste. I blame my love of tea on being British on my Dad’s side. My favourite type of tea is orange pekoe but if I’m feeling adventurous, I will have a peppermint or green tea. I have also tried apricot, grapefruit, and lemon which comes in a three pack and is super refreshing to start off the day. You really can’t go wrong with what tea you drink; I prefer to have a milk and sugar in mine for a little sweetness and flavour.

What’s the best career tip you’ve ever received and who was it from?

When writing my first song I was told some valuable tips from my friend Melo Griffith when signing my first single. He told me that if I’m confident and I believe in myself I can hit whatever note I’m picturing. To me this speaks volumes because I think you can do whatever you put your mind to! I was able to accomplish this is my first single CPR.

As a published model what are some tips and tricks you can offer any aspiring models out there?

Some of my tips and tricks include always be prepared for any type of shoot or audition you have. No one ever did well when they were unorganized and lost. You will lack the confidence you need to kill the project and overall, it will affect the whole shoot negatively. Always have fun no matter what. The more relaxed and into the shoot you are the better your images will turn out. Finally, if you ever unclear about something seek clarification. The best way to learn is by asking questions and getting feedback on your work. No one is perfect and we can always learn something new.

What has been your favorite shoot to date and why?

My favourite shoot to date was the one I did with my agency in Vaughan, Ontario. My agency is TN Model & Talent and the shoot was on October 17, 2020. I had my hair and makeup done by Katie and I provided the outfits. I did four different looks with drastically different hair and makeup. It was my favourite shoot to date because I was able to learn more about myself and step outside of my comfort zone. I did some topless pictures as I wanted to try something new and feel confident in myself. From doing this shoot I grew as a person and learned how to make different facial expressions and poses.

What are 3 songs that have to make it to your life’s soundtrack?

The 3 songs that have made it to my life’s soundtrack are: Driver’s License by Olivia Rodrigo, Skin by Sabrina Carpenter and To Die for by Kygo & St. Lundi. Driver’s License is about a personal heartbreak experience and I have gone through similar. I could just relate to the lyrics so much it was like I was re living it. I like a song that can get me emotional and make me feel like I know exactly how this artist is feeling in this moment. Skin is about not letting other people push you around and get on your nerves. To be able to stand up for yourself and live your life on your own terms. I love this song as it has lots of good life goals in it that I try and live by. Finally, To Die For really pulls at my heart as it again relates to that feeling of wanting to go back to what it was but in reality, we can’t go back we can only move forward. Some would say love is the worst and best thing in life and this song exemplifies the struggles of being in love and what it’s like to fall in love passionatly for the first time.
