Ted Baker is definitely one of my favorites, followed by Scotch and Soda .
Your Instagram is so colorful, do you have a favorite color?
Ahh that is such a difficult question to answer! I’ve been loving pastel colors lately, but if I could only choose one color, I would go for blue. Another color that you don’t really see on my Instagram feed but that I absolutely love, is emerald green. It’s so royal and classy!
What sparked your passion for travel and adventure?
I have always loved traveling, no matter how far or close. As a kid, I always spent the summer with my parents in either Denmark or Germany. Nowadays I also like to travel a little further from home. I really enjoy exploring new cities, different cultures and the beauty of nature in different countries. For me, it’s the ultimate way to escape for a while and relax.
What has been your favorite place to wander to and why?
There are so many places that I would still love to see, but Japan is by far my favorite. Coming from Europe, it feels like a completely different world. The people in Japan are so friendly, the food is amazing and the Japanese gardens are breathtaking. They also have the most fun festivals all year round. I mean, a Pikachu parade during the summer …how fun is that!
What is one country you think everyone should visit at least once and why?
I definitely think everyone should visit Japan at least once, but I had to do a lot of research before traveling to the other side of the world (where they don’t always speak English). If I had to pick one country closer to home, it would be Italy. Rome is a beautiful and historical city. The architecture is impressive and I think that everyone needs to see the beauty of the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Vatican City and much, much more. Plus, you can find the best food in Italy. Pizza, pasta and gelato? Sign me up!
Where is the first place you want to go to once we are allowed to travel again?
Before Covid-19, I was thinking about planning a trip to the United States. I have never been there and I would love to go on a road trip or something like that. So if you have any tips or must sees… let me know 😉
City escape or island getaway?
Ahh another difficult one! I love a nice beach vacation, but I always feel the need to do something after a couple of days: explore the city and see as much as I can during my vacation. So I guess I would go for the city escape then haha!
Window or aisle seat?
Window seat for sure. The views at take off and landing are always so nice and even during the flight or at night with little to see, I love watching the wings and the sky.
How do you fashionably prepare for an upcoming trip?
I always like to scroll on my favorite fashion websites to search for new items to wear before going on a trip. Don’t forget to check the weather on your vacation destination, because you don’t want to buy cute new summer dresses and end up in a cold, rainy place. Vacations are the perfect excuse to buy new clothes, right?
What is the best way to get to know a new country?
Of course you want to see all the touristy things and take the train or bus to get there asap. But the best way to explore a new country is by foot. Are things within walking distance? Walk! You will pass cute little alleys and places that you would probably never see when taking a taxi or subway. I always find this the best way to really get to know a new city.
And skip the international fastfood restaurants and eat at little restaurants during your trip. They often serve local and authentic food and even though you sometimes have no clue what’s on the menu, you should definitely give it a try. It’s super easy nowadays to search for local restaurants nearby on your phone and you can also find reviews and pictures from other customers. Easy peasy!

What does your dream vacation look like?
My dream vacation would definitely last longer than 2 weeks. My vacations are often shorter than that and I feel like it’s a little too short to relax completely. It would also be in a 4* or 5* hotel (love a little luxury!) near the beach AND near the city. That would be a perfect combination. And it would be nice if this luxury hotel would be somewhere sunny and warm. This question really makes me want to travel right now!
