What is a quote that helps you guide yourself?
“Learn to Rest, Don’t Quit.” I think we all tend to get so overwhelmed where sometimes we just feel like giving up. We need to learn to just take a breath and keep going. Life is always going to throw curveballs and stressors, and it’s always about how we deal with them that matters.
What is the last thing you googled and why?
The last thing I googled was “best recipes for zucchini noodles.” I was never a huge cook but that has changed drastically during the pandemic. I love to bake and cook now!
What is one country you think everyone should visit and why?
I’m probably biased but I think everyone should visit Portugal! I was born there and have lived there for many years throughout my life. My entire family lives there so I visit a few times a year. It has amazing people, beaches, food, culture, history, etc. Anything you could ever want and more.
If you could only eat one thing for one week what would it be and why?
If I could only eat one thing for an entire week it would probably be pizza. I have always loved junk food and it’s delicious both hot and cold!
How would you describe your personal style?
I would describe my personal style as modern / chic. I love dressing up and think accessories are crucial to complete a look. I will only really follow a trend if I think it fits with my style. There have been a lot of trends that I just can’t get behind. I like to wear bright colors once in a while but tend to stick to a tone on tone look.
List 5 pieces every girl should have in their fashion collection.
Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
My mom taught me this when I was younger and I still live by this. Don’t reveal too much at once.
If you could go back in time and tell your past self DON’T WEAR THAT! Describe which outfit that would be.
I would say wearing baggy pants with a small top and a studded belt. No, thank you.
Imagine yourself in 25 years what are you wearing?
In 25 years I’m pretty sure I’ll still be wearing all black most the time! I’ve tried in recent years to add more color to my wardrobe but living in NYC completely changes the way you dress.
If you could take a year-long paid sabbatical, what would you do?
I would definitely use that time to travel. I have been to over 30 countries around the world already and there is nothing more fascinating than learning about new places and new cultures.
