How would you define your Instagram aesthetic?
Like my style, my aesthetic is forever changing with the seasons. Right now, for the winter it’s a bit moody and muted. For the spring and summer, it’ll be bright and full of color. For the most part there’s an element of minimalism that ties it all together though!
How did you develop your Instagram aesthetic?
My aesthetic comes to me naturally because I love capturing things that inspire me- whether it be clothes, places, or certain objects. And I share those in my page with the hopes that it’ll inspire others as well. I think that what helps all those things come together as a cohesive vision is that I showcase the beauty behind simplicity.
What tools (equipment & or apps) do you use to maintain your Instagram aesthetic?
I love using the Tezza App, VSCO, and Lightroom Presets. I tend to gravitate towards similar filters in all these apps and that’s how I keep my feed looking even as a whole. Something that I’ve been loving lately though is doing no filters at all and just playing around with the exposure/lighting of the photo.
Where do you go to be inspired?
Normally I rely on the places that I visit to inspire me. But since I haven’t traveled due to the pandemic, I’ve used my home and my city (NYC) for inspiration. Pinterest has become my absolute favorite app for inspiration. I can spend my whole day pinning if I could!
What’s the best fashion advice you received and who was it from?
My parents were both very keen on always looking presentable at all times and drilled that into me and my sister from an early age. My mom is the type of woman that goes to sleep with perfume on! Haha. My dad would never even let us go down to the bodega to buy chips in sweatpants or PJs when we were younger. Nowadays if I walk out of the house in sweats, best believe I have on a blazer or a structured coat to dress it up! All this actually served to build my confidence as a young adult because I knew that I looked “presentable” no matter what I was wearing, and that always made me feel good and comfortable with myself.
What two words would you use to describe your personal style?
Definitely trendy but with a classic twist.
Describe the outfit that makes you feel the most confident.
The outfit that makes me feel the most confident is the one that I’m most comfortable in. And that’s my summer uniform- which is typically a dress with white sneakers. This keeps me cool when the weather is beaming, and the sneakers allow me to do my fave activity which is walking around the city all while feeling cute!
What are some your current fashion guilty pleasures?
Dad Sneakers: I don’t care what anyone says about them, they’re super comfy and easy to throw on with any outfit!
UGG Boots. Listen, they keep me warm on these brisk mornings we’ve been having when I’m on my way to work!

Picture yourself in 25 years what are you wearing?
OMG I’ll be fifty-one then! Whatever I wear I know I’ll be using JLo for inspo. She’s that age now and looks age appropriate yet super chic.
