Quote you live by?
“You get what you focus on so focus on what you want” – Steve Mehr
What has been your greatest live adventure so far?
I went backpacking in Tanzania for 40 days.
What is your favorite part of your day and why?
The mornings. I take my time to really start the day which allows me to feel less stressed when I’m about to begin work.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received and who was it from?
Make sure you actually know how to effectively network by learning what the people are actually working on and what they want to be doing. I got this from one of my mentors at my old job and I’ve tried to take that with me in every scenario.
Can you describe exactly what a content strategist is to our readers?
A content strategist is someone who plans, manages, and develops content either written or visual or audio. In other words, I help my clients plan, develop and centralize their voice across different digital platforms like social media, podcasts, blogs, or YouTube.
What inspires you to start blogging and creating content?
I became inspired to create content and blog because I was looking for a way to fuel my creative side. I always loved writing and I felt like I had a lot of thoughts that I wanted to get out on paper and share with other people.
What is your favorite type of content to create?
Currently, I really love creating Reels on Instagram. I’ve found it to be a fun way to show more of my personality and also not take myself too seriously!
What are your most used tools during your content creation process?
Notion: it’s where I organized and plan my content
Later: Where I schedule my posts to go out
Figma: Where I design my content graphics

How has your background in engineering impacted your content creation process?
I would honestly say it helps! Engineering requires a bunch of creativity to come up with different solutions and some of what I write about on my blog is in relation to my experience as a Software Engineer.
What advice would you offer to our readers looking to blogging and creating content?
Be consistent! It may feel like no one is reading what you’re writing but I promise you that someone out there is. More importantly, even if no one is reading it, do it for you because it’ll be an archive of things that you can look back and remember. Enjoy the process and just have fun! It’ll make blogging a lot easier and more fun.
