What inspired you to start your blog?
My love for fashion, beauty and wellness. I was posting casually before but then people started gaining interest and asked me a bunch of questions so I thought, “Oh ok, maybe I should start taking Instagram seriously now.”
What is your favorite and least favourite things about your blogging process?
My favorite thing about my blogging process would definitely be being able to plan and producing content. It’s like a thrill when I’m able to plan my photos and coordinate with photos to show. It makes me more organized and helps figure out what my followers like and don’t like.
My least favorite thing about the blogging process…I don’t think I really have anything I dislike about it. It’s always a new and fun experience!

What are 5 things you know now, that you wish you knew when you first starting blogging?
Be authentic. I’ve been in a hole before where I would post to my followers, but I wasn’t really myself and I felt that others could feel that lack of authenticity as well. They always know!
Be care-free. Never be afraid to speak your mind and what you want to talk about! Of course, it should still remain on brand, but there are times when some things need to be said. Being a blogger also means having an influence on others. There is also a limitation on what you should say and shouldn’t say, but if something needs to be said then say it! Like periods, for example.
Don’t be afraid to reach out and engage with others. I never did this until this year. It changed everything for the better! I was able to help promote brands, despite not having such a large following, and was able to meet new people!
There’s a lot of scams out there. When I was just starting, there were all these “companies” that would reach out and tell me to DM them to be an ambassador. DON’T DO IT! I was so naïve and believed I would be doing something big, but never DM a company first about any ambassador program. I lost money and I regret it.
Don’t let others get to you. I’ve unfortunately lost some friends doing this. It can be a problem when you get sucked into this hole of social media, but it is also part of my job as I am a majoring and minoring in media. This is how I build my portfolio, but it is also how I am able to connect with others!

Do you prefer digital or print fashion publications?
I personally like print fashion publications. There’s this feeling of having that magazine or book about fashion that just feels a lot more satisfying than digital.
Gym and Yoga?
Gym. I usually work out at home but in college I went to the gym.
What are your top three skincare brands?
Ren, Peter Thompson Roth, First-Aid Beauty.
If we gave you $100.00 what beauty products would you buy that you don’t own right now?
Colourpop, Em Cosmetics, Fenty Beauty.
Describe the outfit that makes you feel most confident.
Oversized blazer, black long-sleeved turtleneck underneath, topped with gold jewellery, tucked in khaki straight leg pants . Cinch the blazer with a black belt and add some black heeled boots.
Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
Not really. Fashion is up to a person’s taste, so I don’t think there are any rules.
What is the last thing you googled and why?
The last thing I googled was ragbag, because I really want to purchase a designer bag one day.
