What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion to me is my identity. It allows us to mold how we want the world to see us. I like how the clothes someone wears and the accessories they need gives a glimpse into who they are individually and socially.
What is your earliest memory associated with fashion?
I remember being about 6 or 7 and asking my mum and dad to buy me the original black and white Converse All-Stars! That was definitely the beginning of my personal style.
How would you define good style?
Whatever projects you. Find the confidence to wear whatever you want according to your mood and what you want to express – you’ve got good style.
How would you describe your personal style and how has it developed over the years?
This is difficult – the truth is my style is always changing. One week I’m obsessed with tight dresses and high heels, the next it’s oversized hoodies and chunky boots. I think it’s important not to pigeon-hole when it comes to fashion! I think overall, my everyday style could be described as confident, magnetic and flaunting – whereas at work, it’s more polished and sophisticated.
Casual chic or full out glam?
How about casual chic with a touch of glam.
What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
At the moment, I’m into trendy and comfortable. Chunky trainers, oversized denim jackets and cargo trousers are my go to!
Where do you go to be fashion inspired?
Pinterest is a good one, and there are some incredibly stylish creators on Instagram.
Who is your celebrity fashion crush?
Kim Kardashian for sure.
If you could raid anyone’s closet whose would it be?
Definitely Cher’s from Clueless, or Elle Wood’s from Legally Blonde – Honestly, any mid 90s/early 2000s chick flick characters, I will raid their wardrobe!
What is the last fashion piece you bought and what attracted you to it?
The last item I bought is a tea dress to wear for Valentine’s dinner. I liked the vibe, and the fit – and it can be worn again for picnics in the summer!
