What is the last thing you googled and why?
A recipe for fried rice because I can never quite get it right!
What does a typical day in your life look like?
I teach fashion and sewing to middle school students which allows me to teach what I’m passionate about and also have my holidays off to travel!
What inspired you to starting blogging?
I started blogging after we returned from living in the Middle East, I wanted to share about unique places to visit on earth.
What do you like most about blogging and creating content for your Instagram?
I love meeting new photographers with creative vision and ideas. Seeing what they can do with me, with fashion, and with the surroundings to create art amazes me. Meeting small business owners in the community has led to many friendships as well!
What is your favorite type of content to create and why?
I love travel blogging, it’s like keeping a diary of our best memories.
What advice would you give to aspiring bloggers who are worried about the saturation of spaces like Instagram?
There is no one exactly like you, be yourself and work harder than the others!
How has the pandemic impacted your blogging routine?
It has definitely affected our ability to travel. We had to cancel trips to Belize, Hawaii and Europe this year, however we travelled within our province and discovered so many amazing places!
How has the pandemic impacted your personal style?
I’ve been embracing the loungewear trend! Normally I never wear loungewear but I’ve gotten into it. I’m also always looking for great activewear for our local hikes.
How would you describe your personal style pre and post Covid-19?
I wouldn’t say that I’ve let it affect me, I’ve acted as though there will be parties and events again soon!
What has been your life’s greatest adventure so far?
Besides my marrying husband and having my two boys, living in Abu Dhabi was an incredible experience that encompassed so many adventures, from swimming in the Dead Sea to jumping into sinkholes in Oman. I’ll never forget that year.
