Jacobs is a New York-born fashion design guru – born in April, 1963. He is the lead designer at Marc Jacobs and also owns a diffusion line by the name Marc. Additionally, he doubles as the creative director of Louis Vuitton, a French design house. He is a powerhouse in fashion design and was included in Time 100 in 2010. Time 100 lists the 100 most prominent people in the world.

Lauren was born in October, 1939 in New York City. Well, you may never remember him in person, but he is the designer behind the Polo clothing line. It’s funny that some people study something that is opposite of their occupations today. Such is Lauren who studied business science and served in the army before venturing into fashion.
